Questions from the edge of the signal
FAQ
What is Low Signal Stories?
A monthly interactive fiction anthology. Each campaign is a self-contained branching story you play in your browser.
Do I need an account?
No. Saves use anonymous save codes so you can continue without creating an account. Bookmark your play page or copy your save code. Anyone with the code can resume that playthrough, so treat it like a private key.
How do save codes work?
Every new run gets a unique save code shown below the story. Bookmark the play page or copy the code somewhere private. To continue later, use “Resume transmission” on the landing page and paste your code. Anyone with the code can resume that playthrough.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The goal is a polished experience on desktop, laptop, tablet, and phone.
Is this AI-generated while I play?
No. Public campaigns are authored and tested ahead of time so routes, endings, tone, and moderation stay reliable.
What do you track?
Basic anonymous aggregate activity: scene loads, choices, endings, and drop-offs. No creepy keystroke tracking.
How do I report a problem?
Use the quiet report form linked at the bottom of the page. It asks for your email, a subject, and what went wrong. We keep the destination email private.
How often do new stories release?
The target is one featured campaign each month, with the current issue highlighted on the landing page.
